LOFT hits the newsstands!

Holding a magazine in your hands when it’s hot off the press is always an adrenalin-fuelled moment. This month, though, the Fluid Publishing team were extra excited, as the magazine hit the newsstands for the very first time. The magazine has gathered plenty of momentum over the last year, with supporting events, key advertisers and a growing digital presence, and a move from subscription-only to subscription and newsstand was a natural progression. Editorial director Dominique Afacan commented ‘Every issue just keeps getting bigger and better and so we’re thrilled with its new status as a paid-for publication.’

LOFT is a property and lifestyle magazine with content ranging from home interiors to international investment opportunities. The summer issue includes an up-close and personal look at three designer Hong Kong kitchens, a focus on third-tier Chinese cities as property havens and inspiration on where to buy in Bali, Turkey and the US.

LOFT is available at Dymocks, Bookazine, Metrobooks, Commercial Press, Page One and PARKnSHOP or visit LOFT Magazine to find out more.

What we like, this month.
Toro Y Moi - How I Know

Toro y Moi

Toro y Moi's Underneath the Pine is something of a constant in our office as is the recently released ghostly video for How I Know. Just don't mention 'wave' or 'chill' in any order.

Creeper Cat

Creeper Cat

Quasimodo is excellent and cats are a treat, so a terrified moggie strutting out of view impersonating Notre Dame's famed dweller is instant internet gold. The soundtrack isn't shabby either.

What's on Steve Buscemi's Stoop?

What's on Steve Buscemi's Stoop?

Inspiring our creative team no end with insight into the refuse of a stellar actor, What's on Steve Buscemi's Stoop is necessary online voyeurism: Hats, Squiggly things and plant care aplenty.

This month we get to know Rachel Ng, our extremely long-haired Canadian import and Digital Designer.
Rachel Ng

Do you have a favourite word, if so what is it?
Cookies.

If you had to face an undefeatable wave of zombies to one song, your swan song, what would it be?
You can't fight zombies to chillwave.
Have you ever shaved your head or dyed your hair? If so, how’d that go?
Dyed my hair too many times during my many phases in high school. So embarrassing.
